Founded in 1950, CICSSA is one of Uruguay’s leading manufacturers of corrugated cardboard packaging. From its industrial facility in Canelones, near Montevideo and Carrasco International Airport, the company develops recyclable packaging for the food, beverage, meat-processing, fishing, agricultural, dairy, pharmaceutical, wine, and general manufacturing industries. Its offering ranges from corrugated sheets and conventional boxes to offset-printed packaging, Bag-in-Box solutions, octabins, cardboard pallets, protective corners, and other customised products.

CICSSA primarily serves the Uruguayan market while also exporting to regional and European destinations. Since 2010, the company has complemented its packaging operations with third-party logistics and warehousing services, including refrigerated storage, loading and unloading, labelling, order preparation, and pack assembly.
